Storefront Studios is a one-woman product photography service based in Florence, Alabama - serving clients all over the U.S.
This All Started When Amy Was Laid Off.
Storefront Studios was founded in a Nashville basement in 2016. Amy was working in-house as a product photographer for a high end corporate retailer. Then came the day when the boss’s boss’s boss moved the entire studio out of state. After a lot of soul searching and planning (and let’s be honest - crying) she got to work using her skill set to benefit small businesses instead.
Amy has worked with hundreds of clients over the last ten years creating clean and cohesive images that show products at their very best. Because better photos mean better sales. And because sometimes getting laid off is the best thing that could have ever happened.

My Name is Amy.
I'm a native of Huntsville, Alabama. I graduated with a photography degree from The Art Institute of Colorado in 2008. I eventually found my way back south and landed in Nashville for over fifteen years. That’s where I started Storefront Studios back in 2016, which helps me keep the bread buttered. I specialize in photography for small business owners of all sorts.
At the end of 2024 my family and I relocated to beautiful and quaint Florence, Alabama where I have continued my product photography work.
What to Expect.
Step 1 : Request a Custom Quote
Email me to start the process. I will get back to you asap with a quote. Pricing is per image for e-commerce photography - no pricing packages, no minumums.
Step 2 : Delivery of Products
For those outside of the Shoals, you will ship your items to the studio! I will provide the address if you decide to move forward in the process.
Step 3 : Production and Retouching
Your final images will have a pure white background (or color of your choice). The natural shadow of the product will be painted back in for a more polished look. I can also deliver transparent PNG files at no extra charge.
Step 4 : Image Review and Delivery
You will receive a link to view and download your images. These images images of your products are yours to keep forever. Use them as you please for your website, social media, email marketing, print promos, and editorial submissions.
Step 5 : Invoicing and Return of Products
You will receive an invoice online for easy payment. I can return your samples back to you - just remember to include a return shipping label. Don’t need your items back? I can donate for you when the shoot is complete.
